So we are a fat nation. Everybody has heard it. Its a true fact, but really, saying people are fat doesn’t change anything. This week I will suggest a couple ways to change your diet so that you can start your path to being healthy.
1. No calories from drinks (140 caloires per 12 ounce can * 7 days per week = 980 calories which equals approximately 0.25 lbs saved from your thighs). This is an easy step.
2. Replace potato based sides with veggies. And get a very light dressing. You didn’t want the salad anyway, what’s it matter if it doesn’t have your favorite dressing.
3. Eat lean. If you can see the fat, don’t eat it. No sausage, no bacon, no fatty hamburger.
Try these steps and I will talk to you again last week. Just doing these small steps will help you to lead you to a healthier life. Besides, this is really small stuff. Once you can convince yourself that you can do this small little task, you just may get the confidence to make larger strides. So start. See if you can make these 3 changes for a week.

That’s excellent advice - people get so caught up in following an impossible diet plan they don’t realise how easy it should really be.
